I discovered my love for wool and rug hooking about 25 years ago.  It started innocently enough.  I was going to take a quilt class but while waiting at the store to sign up I spotted a small cupboard full of wool, some patterns and a few hooked samples.  A sign indicated that they were going to have a class on “rug hooking”.  I had no clue what “rug hooking” was all about as being from the Midwest all I had ever seen was wool blankets not rugs!  Well I signed up and after the first 10 minutes I was truly “hooked”.   I bought my next pattern that night and finished it the next day and I was off! 

With the support of my wonderful husband Mark and very dear friends I have realized a dream to pursue my love for wool!  I know there are many of you out there also “hooked”  or would love to learn.  We hope you can stop by and share in our mutual passions to create with wool!  If you do, please consider bringing your work … we would love to see it!
